1. Who we are

2. What WLTH is

WLTH is a record-keeping tool. You enter the assets you own and the debts you owe, and the app charts them, works out how they have changed, and produces estimates about the future. It does not connect to your bank or to any financial institution, and it cannot verify anything you enter. The accuracy of what comes out depends entirely on the accuracy of what you put in.

3. Not financial advice

Nothing in WLTH is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in it is a personal recommendation. Retirement dates, Coast FIRE and FIRE figures, and any other projection are estimates produced from the numbers you entered and assumptions the app applies. They are not promises, guarantees, or forecasts of actual returns. Investments can fall as well as rise. Before making a decision that matters, speak to a regulated financial adviser.

4. Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. Keeping access to that sign-in account is your responsibility — if you lose it, we may not be able to restore access to your data. Accounts are for one person; do not share yours. You must be at least 16 years old to use WLTH.

5. Your data

The records you enter remain yours. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your records, sync them between your devices, and back them up. We do not use them for anything else. See the privacy policy for the detail.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies. The app provides a full JSON backup and CSV export for exactly this purpose, and we recommend you use them. If you import a CSV, what it contains is yours to get right — we store the rows as given and do not check them.

6. WLTH Pro

The core of WLTH is free. WLTH Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks the history and future insight cards and the retirement projections.

• Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, or by Google through Google Play. We do not process your payment.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel through your Apple or Google account settings; cancelling before the end of the current period stops the next renewal.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
• If we change the price, we will give you notice before it takes effect and you may cancel.
• If your subscription lapses, your records stay intact and the free features keep working. Only the Pro insights are locked.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to break into, disrupt, or overload the app, the API, or this website;
• reverse-engineer or copy the software except where the law allows it;
• use WLTH to store unlawful content, or to do anything unlawful;
• resell or redistribute access to the service.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep WLTH working, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption. Because the app is offline-first, your records remain readable on your device even when sync is unavailable. We may add, change, or remove features over time; if we remove something significant that you pay for, we will tell you.

9. Exchange rates and third-party data

Currency conversion uses historical rates obtained from a third-party provider. Rates are indicative and may differ from those you would obtain in a real transaction.

10. Warranties and our liability

WLTH is provided as it is. Beyond what the law requires of us, we do not warrant that it will be available without interruption or free of errors, that any projection will prove accurate, or that it is fit for a particular purpose you have in mind.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from decisions you make on the basis of figures shown in the app, for loss of data where you have not kept your own backup, or for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability can be limited, ours is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect.

11. Ending it

You can stop using WLTH and delete your account at any time — here is how. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or if we stop providing the service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will tell you in the app about any material change. Continuing to use WLTH after that means you accept the new terms.

13. The app stores

WLTH is downloaded from the App Store or from Google Play. Where you obtained it from Apple, the following also applies.

• These terms are between you and us. Apple is not a party to them, and we, not Apple, are solely responsible for WLTH and everything in it.
• Your licence is a non-transferable licence to use WLTH on any Apple-branded device you own or control, on the terms of the Usage Rules in Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for WLTH. For help, write to [email protected].
• If WLTH fails to conform to any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund what you paid for it. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation at all, and every other claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense arising from a failure to conform is ours to answer for.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claim you or anyone else makes about WLTH, including product liability claims, any claim that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims brought under consumer protection or privacy law.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging any claim that WLTH infringes someone else’s intellectual property.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and on your acceptance of them Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be dealt with by its courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
